Chauncey Chapman is a dedicated community leader with a diverse background in business, technology, and civic engagement. With over 30 years of experience in engineering and product development, Chauncey served as Chief Technology Officer at American Underwater Products. His innovative work in the diving and underwater technology fields led to the successful development of life-saving systems used by military and commercial divers. He has a strong understanding of budget management, cost reduction, and crafting solutions that benefit everyone.
Chauncey has also served as a board member and President of Riverglen in Deerfield Beach, where he led significant community revitalization projects, including rebuilding the neighborhood’s recreation facility and growing the HOA’s reserve funds to over $250,000. His leadership has helped reduce costs while improving local amenities for residents. He is passionate about bringing the same practical, results-driven approach to city government.
As a candidate for District 4 Commissioner, Chauncey is committed to reducing the cost of living in Deerfield Beach by cutting property taxes, lowering city fees, and making beach parking more affordable for residents. He also supports moving elections to November, which would save taxpayers money and increase voter turnout.
